Self-Hypnosis for Self-Healing

So you are curious about self-hypnosis? Either you have read my previous blog post Hypnosis throughout time and space or you landed here by other means, never the less, Welcome <3
Encase you haven't read the previous blog post, let me give you a quick debrief, hypnosis in its most basic explanation is a state of highly focused attention, achieved through going into the Theta brainwave, which occurs naturally when you are deeply relaxed or in meditation and it just so happens that all hypnosis is self-hypnosis because your mind is doing all the work.
So, what would this look like?
Its really quiet simple, you will be flowing through the different types of brainwaves until you enter the Theta brainwave that feels dreamlike, just before you fall asleep even, where you are in a deep meditation.
But lets break it down for you:
Beta brainwave: This is where you start, you a beginning to settle down and are still aware and you may begin to receive messages on what your hypnosis session is about.
Alpha brainwave: This is the in-between frequency, your bridge to the theta. Your mind and body are calming down, you are entering a deeper relaxed state.
Theta brainwave: This is where you are most relaxed with a open mindstate, you are able to feel deeply, your intuition and creativity are heightened and are able to work with the intention you have set.
What are the benefits?
The practice of self-hypnosis may sound a bit daunting, but once you workout this muscle the benefits are endless and there is nothing quite like it. One of the most empowering feelings in the world is knowing that you are deeply connected and can receive guidance and healing from within, I mean who better to trust than yourself?
To harness the benefits from self-hypnosis depends on the intentions you set and work through during the process. Say you struggle with anxiety, you will want to find the root cause of this feeling, this may show up as a memory from your childhood/past life or could be from negative energy that you are picking up on subconsciously or it could even be from your environment. I could list many more reasons but only you know the answer and your really do, don't doubt yourself, once you found that root cause/seed point you can set your intent for healing and releasing with the help of any Benevolent Being you align with.

Anxiety & stress
Improve sleep
Reduce cravings
Trauma
Depression
Pain, chronic pain
Migraines/headaches
Move stagnate energy, heavy emotions through the body
Gain clarity, receive answers and foster a deeper connection to yourself/your soul

I want to be real with you though, all of this is easily said and explained but its not that easy to do by yourself, especially if you are the type of person that has a bit of trust issues with themselves, blockages or struggles to focus for an extended period of time but I want to let you know that you are not alone. These struggles are quiet normal in todays world, we spend so much time focusing on everything outside of us, everything is fast paced and demands our attention, so if you do decide to double down and try this out please don't give up, nature is slow and takes her time to unfold and you just so happen to be apart of her.
Slow down, take a breath, trust that you will unfold and bloom in your own time.
I also need to remind you that you are Sacred, your energy and every aspect of you is Sacred so remember to treat yourself accordingly. That just so happens to include learning to protect yourself energetically, everyone should be doing this daily but if you haven't been I ask that you at least always do it before going into a meditative state, this includes before trying to do self-hypnosis because once you enter a meditative state your energy opens up to receive information. You will want to make sure that nothing negative can enter your energy field and mess around, but don't worry I will take through all the steps via video and written format. How to Hypnotize yourself

Set the space: I always recommend wearing comfy clothe, no make up and to lie in your bed, you can light some candles and turn on soft instrumental music if you like. The main point here is carving out some time where you wont be disturbed and you can relax.
Set your intention: What is your intent for this session? Do you need an answer for a decision, do you want to heal a past life, childhood trauma, remove a negative belief system. Whatever it is you may set it now either speak it out to your Soul or writing it down.
Activate your Shields: Right, now you have set the space and your intent, now its time to make sure you are protected. Start envisioning layer upon layer of bubbles, one encasing the other. You can take inspiration from nature envisioning a honey comb bubble, a leaf wrapping around you or even sitting inside a rose. Be creative and enjoy this, the more fun and love you put in the stronger it is. Set your intent of protection, here's one I suggest "I want to surround myself with Love-Light ensuring that no negative-polarized energies, entities and technology can infringe upon this thought form and intent all day and night"' You may even as Archangels, Ascended Masters, God/Source to protect and hold the space for you <3
Focal point: Find a point in your room to focus on and soften your gaze, relax those eyes of yours, while holding that point become aware of your breath, slowing it down, slowing it all down. When your ready gently close your eyes bringing your focus to your body now, relaxing and softening each part of you, take your time here and make it delicious.
Use your imagination: Your imagination is your 3rd eye! Its where all your senses live, sight, smell, hearing, knowing and feeling, this is how your soul and the subtle world around you communicates, so honor in whichever way your Soul, Guides, Inner Child etc.. communicates with you. At this stage you will be traveling quantumly to a past life, childhood, future you aspects or you may be in a space of healing and go directly to the body scan,
Move through your body: When you are ready to start moving healing energy through your body you may ask anyone that resonates with your such as Archangels, Ascended Masters or Guides to assist with the body scan. I personally always ask Archangel Micheal. Feeling yourself becoming aware of your body, if any aches arise suddenly, locating where there is stagnate or negative energy, or even pressure, placing your hands on these areas and loving asking for them to be cleared and healed. Take your time here and thoroughly working through your body. This is also when you can ask your questions to your Soul/Guides ect.
Give thanks: Once you feel like you received everything you needed from this session you can give thanks to all who assisted and held space for you, don't forget to give thanks to yourself since you did carve out the time for this.
Close the session: Take your time coming back slowly, stretching, yawning and once ready slowly opening your eyes. Drink some water and go outside to ground and receive some sunlight. Be mindful to what you consume for the next 2 hours as you adjust and continue anchoring in this healing for the next couple of days.
